Congratulations to Adam Hopper who, with his eight team mates has just completed a four day charity cycle from Panasonic Bracknell to the Arc de Triomphe, Paris.
The team have raised £13,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Its not too late to sponsor the team – click here: www.justgiving.com/teams/Bracknell-Paris
Battling torrential rain and wind, the team found out the long way (literally) that bikes are not allowed on the A20 into Dover.
This mean’t they missed their Ferry crossing and then, once in France, were pulled over by the police for being on the motorway.
After a more pleasant third day of cycling in better condition – mostly dry, gentler hills – the team decided to stay at a nearer hotel, leaving 60 miles to the the Arc de Triomphe.
And today, on day four, they made it to central Paris. Bravo!
