Infosec Cloud offers Penetration Testing, 3rd Party Risk Management, End User Security Awareness Training and a comprehensive Cloud-based Identity Management solution.
25 February 2016. Basingstoke, Hampshire – Infosec Cloud, an accredited Cyber Essentials reseller and managed services provider, has expanded its service portfolio to include new security awareness, compliance and identity management solutions.
The new services complement the company’s existing IT security portfolio, which includes email and web security, strong authentication, email encryption, SIEM and WLAN amongst others, plus the UK’s best prices for Office 365.
Infosec Cloud provides cloud-based, hybrid and on-premise solutions, many offered as fully managed services, to well over a hundred thousand users across the UK. The company has recently been shortlisted for this year’s Network Computing, IT Security Reseller of the Year Award.
Pete Sherwood, MD, Infosec Cloud commented: “We are committed to providing our customers with the services and support they need to remain cyber secure and meet regulatory and best practice compliance and risk management requirements.”
The new services have been added in response to new solutions becoming available and the company’s recent IT Security survey. The research was undertaken to identify and benchmark a cross-section of organisations’ approaches to security, and gain an insight into current challenges. All industry sectors, and organisations of all sizes, were represented in the research. [Copies of the research are available upon request]
Pete Sherwood noted: “Our recent research, found that 2016 looks like being the year of the security-essential organisation where cyber security is everyone’s responsibility, building a united front against cyber attackers through the adoption of a multi-layered security and risk management approach. We decided to add specific new services to our portfolio to meet this need”
The news services include:
GRC Risk Manager – automates the collection of data to measure and manage the Risk Register of suppliers, partners and the organisation itself.
Penetration Testing – evaluates the security of IT infrastructure and applications by safely trying to exploit vulnerabilities.
Security Awareness Training – helps build a human firewall with interactive training delivered at the desktop, reinforced with simulated test cyber attacks, such as tailored phishing emails.
Okta Identity Management – provides secure identity management and single sign-on (SSO) to any application, whether in the cloud, on-premises or on mobile devices.
Infosec Cloud has already seen substantial interest in the new services, fueled by the increasing number of high profile data breaches, which are often a result of successful phishing and social engineering attacks on organisations and their partners.
